Who We Are

Garden Wok is in a warm and friendly place with excellent food. A place where you always know you will get the best of everything. Garden Wok features comfortable furnishings and decor with soothing warm tones in the cozy dining room. It is a perfect place to stop in for a bite to eat and/or for a small business meeting. 

About the Chef

Born and raised in Taiwan, Taipei. Hsiueh Chiueh and her family came to the United States to live the American Dream. She learned her techniques from a head chef at a restaurant where she honed her craft twenty years ago.  Inspired to provide for her family she started work at a family restaurant as a head chef at Vegetable Delight.  As the years went by she decided to leave Vegetable Delight to start her own business venture, which is now known as the Garden Wok.  Having had no formal training at a prestigious cooking school, Hsiueh's persistence and dedication to the art of cooking made her a house hold name in the the North Side Valley (Encino, Tarzana, Reseda, Woodland Hills) as one the most delicious and satisfying All Vegetarian Chinese Food experiences in Los Angeles. 


Our Signature Specialties

The menu is an inspired Taiwanese cuisine that appeals to a diverse clientele. You can get delicious healthy Chinese vegetarian cuisine food options or something light and filling.  Garden Wok is known for our Signature Specialty Sauces; such as, the Sweet Soy Sauce, Sweet & Sour Sauce, Lemon Sauce and Orange Sauce. We also have specials, adding value to our lunch and dinner menu. Prices are competitive with other dine-in restaurants in the area. However, it is the strategy of the Garden Wok to present a higher valued experience than its competitors, through our food, service and Signature Specialty Sauces which we are developing the brand to target the retail market environment by 2015.
